The XXXth International Symposium of the Construction Section of the International Social Security Association (ISSA-C) will take place in Boston from 16 until 18 October, 2012. The symposium will be held in the Boston Park Plaza Hotel & Towers, situated in the heart of Boston and next to the famous Public Garden.

The Symposium's topic is  Strategies for Integrating Occupational Safety and Health in the Construction Process: Research, Innovation, Best Practices.  The program will focus on two major subjects,  which will be discussed at three levels: the industry, the company and the individual. 

The subjects are:

• Safety and health in the life-cycle of the construction industry: pre-construction; construction; post-construction
  
  
• Safety and health at work training: Learning; aims; efficiency

Internationally renowned keynote speakers will introduce the subjects. These will subsequently be developed in depth during various interactive sessions from roundtables to workshops.  Coffee breaks, lunches and receptions will give ample time to mingle.  It will be a lively event.  We look forward to your participation!
